Apple Orchard Fun

Hey everyone! This weekend I went to an Apple Orchard for the very first time and it definitely did not disappoint! It was located at the cutest little farm that also had a pumpkin patch and a little petting zoo with animals like alpacas and goats. The farm also had the best apple cider slushes which I had with some apple caramel ice cream, yum! The apples tasted amazing and I'll definitely be making a pie or some apple crisp with them. I just got the flannel I'm wearing from J. Crew Factory and I am obsessed with it, it is so comfy and matches so much! Instead of tucking it in, I decided to do something different and tie it. I paired it with a navy J. Crew Factory skirt, my hunter boots and a pearl necklace. I was originally wearing a Burgundy vest but since it got warmer as we were there, I took it off. Next week I won't have to worry about that since the forecast is predicting snow which I am so excited about! It was such a fun day and I am definitely planning on going back very soon. Enjoy!

Favorite Fall Outfits

Hey everyone! Fall weather has finally hit Ohio and I couldn't be more excited! One of the reasons I love fall so much is because you get to layer your outfits so much. I decided to put some of my favorite outfit combinations for fall together to share with all of you. I had so much fun putting all of these outfits together and you will definitely be seeing a few of them on the blog very soon! Hope you enjoy!

This outfit combination is definitely one of my favorite outfits for Fall. I love it because it is such a simple outfit to wear but still looks really put together. In addition to that, I also love how versatile it is. You could wear it to an apple orchard or on rainy days when you go out on the town or just to run errands. Not only does it look really put together but it's also extremely comfortable so its a win-win!

I like to call this outfit my "out for coffee" outfit since it's perfect for a coffee run. It's not only quick and easy but also such a classic outfit. I just recently got the loafers from Jack Rogers and let me tell you, I'm obsessed! They are definitely a preppy closet staple and are perfect for walking in!

 This combo here is definitely a classic. How cute are these Jack Rogers booties?! You can wear them with any look on this post! One of my favorite pieces from the outfit is definitely the sweater because everyone needs a classic cable knit sweater in the fall!

This outfit is perfect for those Fall Days that fall a little bit more on the colder side! Bean boots are definitely a must have for fall and they go perfect with some cozy socks. One of the reasons I love this outfit so much is because I can switch it up and wear a skirt and tights instead of the jeans! It's definitely one of my staple outfit combos for fall.

This outfit is for the days of Fall that fall on the warmer side. It seems like in Ohio we have had too many days like that this October but it looks like it's about to get very cold and I am definitely looking forward to it. I got the vineyard vines necklace this summer and I've been struggling to find what to wear it with but this outfit was perfect! I am loving this outfit because I can also wear it on a rainy day with some navy hunter boots and a trench coat!

National Dessert Day

In honor of National Dessert Day this Saturday, I decided to bake my favorite fall treat.. pumpkin pie! Pumpkin pie is one of my favorite desserts to eat in the fall along with a nice cup of hot apple cider. Since I'm allergic to gluten, finding a pie crust recipe that doesn't fall apart has been difficult luckily I finally found one that stays together and taste amazing! The recipe for the crust was taken from the blog, Gluten Free On A Shoestring and I'll share it below ↓ and the recipe for the filling was Libby's famous pumpkin pie which I will also place share below ↓ ! Breaking Out The Sweaters

Hey Everyone! This weekend my best friend and I went to go visit our best friend at college (she completes the trio!) We are so excited for fall and the weather was perfect for breaking out the sweaters! We stayed there for the weekend and on Saturday we went to the cutest little farm. There was a corn maze, apple cider slushies, kettle corn and so much more! We enjoyed doing the corn maze and taking lots of pictures with the pumpkins. My sweater is from J. Crew factory and I am obsessed with the ruffle sleeves, it is the perfect sweater for fall weather. I also recently got my loafers from Jack Rogers and I am just in love with the scallop detailing on them, they are definitely one of my favorite shoes for fall. Hope you enjoy!
